Frink’s Fact: the price of Maggie

Frink's Fact

This is the first ever Frink’s Fact!

Every Saturday I will post a Frink Fact! This fact could be tapped out related, Simpsons related or just a random fact from Frink. So here is the first ever Frink Fact …

In the earlier seasons of the Simpsons, the beginning credits featured Marge at the grocery store and Marge accidentally letting Maggie through the bar scanner. When Maggie was scanned the price went up to $847.63 which in 1987 was the average price of raising a baby for one month. So a short glimpse of the beginning credits tells you, at that time, how much it was cost to raise Maggie for a month!

Hope you enjoyed the Frink Fact! What kind of facts would you like to see? Did you already know the fact? What do you think about the website so far? Sound off in the comments to let us know, but in the meantime, happy tapping!!!

  1. I didn’t realize that the number changed from episode to episode, or that the number was tied to that statistic. Cool! 🙂

  2. Cool. I never knew. I just assumed it said nra4eva, as per the behind the scenes episode.
